Our Sustainable Journey so Far 

Selectequip has always taken sustainability seriously. In 2003, we created our first sustainable initiative: to make rail point ID plates from recycled milk bottle top material.

As an organisation, we have also been Zero Waste to Landfill since 2016. In recent years, we have brought numerous eco-friendly solutions to market – such as the Luxsolis in 2019 and the MEWU in 2020. 

We know sustainability is critical to our customers, as we all work together to make the world a greener place. We have added even more eco safety solutions to our portfolio to help you stay safe and shop sustainably.

NEW Sustainable Hi-Vis Workwear

Meet the Eco Viz Range – compliant hi-vis clothing that is both safe and sustainable!

The EcoViz Range is a hi-vis clothing range that is super-sustainable – from the clothing composition to the garment packaging. 

The entire range is compliant with the high visibility standard ISO 20471, so you can stay safe and seen on site. All garments are made from either recycled polyester clothing or recycled plastic bottles – to minimise the impact on a landfill and reduce plastic waste. 

On the Selectequip Shop, we have the Eco Viz boiler suits, jackets, trousers, and polo shirts – so we really do have you covered! 

Breathable Bamboo for Exceptional Climate Control

The EcoViz PB Garments also have the added advantage of being made from a recycled polyester and bamboo blend. Bamboo is a sustainable material renowned for its hypoallergenic properties.

Sustainable Packaging 

The sustainable EcoViz benefits don’t stop there – as the range is also packaged in recycled bags that are oxo-biodegradable. This means that the bags will naturally break down should they end up in the landfill. 

We also package all of the Selectequip Shop PPE orders in sustainable materials – using plastic packaging made from 80% recyclable materials and 20% reclaimed materials. Another way that we help you shop sustainably whilst staying safe out on site!

NEW Sustainable Safety Eyewear

Looking for sustainable Safety Eyewear? Then you simply must see the Bolle Go Green Range!

Another new sustainable range that has just landed on the Selectequip Shop is the Bolle Go Green range. You may know Bolle Safety Eyewear for providing superior eye protection – but did you know that the Go Green range also has sustainable packaging? 

All the Bolle Go Green Products are packaged in 100% recyclable materials made of recycled cardboard and silk paper. Instructions for use are directly printed on packaging with vegetal-based ink to ensure all packaging is 100% plastic-free. 

Platinum Eye Protection

Across the Bolle Go Green range, there are Safety Goggles and Safety Glasses for different applications. All eyewear with the Platinum coating provides targeted anti-fog and anti-scratch protection, which is vital for protecting your vision as you work. 

Eyewear for Every Application

Many of the Bolle Go Green Safety Glasses are available with tinted lenses to provide custom eye protection to suit your requirements. The Silex Safety Glasses are available with clear, smoke, amber, or copper lenses. 

Amber and copper lenses are designed to be worn in low light conditions, as these tints make the environment seem brighter. Amber lenses block blue light to increase depth perception and sharpness in foggy conditions, whilst copper lenses enhance red light. 

Clear lenses are ideal for indoor use, providing good mechanical protection and a high level of visibility. Smoke grey lenses are suitable for those working in bright environments, as they provide enhanced colour contrast and zero distortion.
