After a lengthy process, the Baselight 600MX Rail has become the first and only portable lighting system with Network Rail approval.

In addition to the all the features on the original version of the 600MX, there have been reflective graphics added to the legs of the unit to aid with visibility before and after the light has been turned on. Additionally, the handle position has changed, a lifting eye has been added and the red flashing lights on the original version have changed to white. All of these alterations contributed to Network Rail approval for the product, making the 600MX Rail more suited to safety in rail-specific environments. The fully automated features of the Baselight 600MX Rail enable a ‘set and forget’ approach, enabling ultimate focus on the job at hand whilst safe in the knowledge that the 600MX Rail needs minimal attention to continue working effectively and efficiently, allowing the user to do the same.

The rail system operates across the entirety of the United Kingdom, seeing a vast range of conditions and terrains across every corner of the country. The computer-controlled digital mast system enables use in any situation, automatically reacting to terrain and wind speed changes. In addition to this, the dedicated smart phone app allows mast and brightness adjustments to suit the situation and demands of the user. With a modular design and rugged wheels, this portable light is designed for rapid transportation to the most remote of sites.

Consistent with the entire Baselight range, the 600MX Rail will help users to meet emissions and safety targets by ensuring zero emissions, zero spill and zero noise whilst also being light and compact enough to be transported without an RRV.
