After a lengthy process, the Baselight 600MX Rail has become the first and only portable lighting system with Network Rail approval.

In addition to the all the features on the original version of the 600MX, there have been reflective graphics added to the legs of the unit to aid with visibility before and after the light has been turned on. Additionally, the handle position has changed, a lifting eye has been added and the red flashing lights on the original version have changed to white. All of these alterations contributed to Network Rail approval for the product, making the 600MX Rail more suited to safety in rail-specific environments. The fully automated features of the Baselight 600MX Rail enable a ‘set and forget’ approach, enabling ultimate focus on the job at hand whilst safe in the knowledge that the 600MX Rail needs minimal attention to continue working effectively and efficiently, allowing the user to do the same.
